LL Cool J is Nominated to be part of the Rock & Roll Hall of fame, do you think he deserves it?

The rock hall foundation’s nominating committee selects the names for the ballot, and nominees have to have released their first album or single at least 25 years before. According to the rock hall institution, “factors such as an artist’s musical influence on other artists, length and depth of career and the body of work, innovation and superiority in style and technique are taken into consideration.”If LL Cool J does gets inducted, it’ll be a big year for the rapper; in December, he becomes the first rap artist to be a Kennedy . LL Cool J Is The Only Rapper Nominated For 2018 Rock & Roll Hall Of FameCenters Honors recipient.
Along with LL, other nominees include Nina Simone, Rage Against The Machine, Depeche Mode, Judas Priest, The Meter and Rufus Featuring Chaka Khan, among others. If LL Cool J is finally inducted, he'll be one of the few rappers to be inducted. Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Beastie Boys, Run DMC, NWA and Tupac are all members of the Hall Of Fame.

James Todd Smith (born January 14, 1968), better known by his stage name LL Cool J (short for Ladies Love Cool James), is an American rapper, actor, author and entrepreneur from Queens, New York. He is known for such hip hop hits as "I Can't Live Without My Radio", "I'm Bad", "The Boomin' System", "Rock The Bells" and "Mama Said Knock You Out", as well as romantic ballads such as "Doin' It", "I Need Love", "Around the Way Girl" and "Hey Lover".LL Cool J has released 13 studio albums and two greatest hits compilations. His twelfth album Exit 13 (2008), was his last for his long-tenured deal with Def Jam Recordings. His latest album, Authentic, was released in April 2013. LL Cool J has also appeared in numerous films, including In Too Deep, Any Given Sunday, S.W.A.T., Mindhunters, and Edison. He currently stars in an action role as NCISSpecial Agent Sam Hanna, on the CBS crime drama television series NCIS: Los Angeles. LL Cool J is also the host of Lip Sync Battle on Spike.
