LiL Peeps cause of death has been released, see what the report says.
After investigation of the Death of LiL Peep, authorities have ruled it out as an accidental overdose. Lil Peep had numerous drugs in his system including hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxycodone, cocaine and THC. His death was confirmed to have been caused by a combination of the opioid fentanyl and a mixture the anti-anxiety medication Xanax. The popular underground rapper who died last month at age 21,was found unresponsive on his tour bus outside of Tuscon concert venue The Rock, where he was scheduled to perform, in mid-November. Responders were unable to revive him .

He was cited as one of the primary artists responsible for the post-emo revival with his style of hip hop which came to be known as emo trap.Lil Peep was described as a "SoundCloud rapper", and his musical style is considered emo hip hop,[and lo-fi rap. The New York Times defined Åhr as the Kurt Cobain of lo-fi rap and described his music as gloomy and diabolically melodic. Åhr's music generally drew on both southern US rap and the angsty introspection of the rock subgenre post-hardcore.

New York Times music critic Jon Caramanica defined Åhr as the Kurt Cobain of lo-fi rap and described his music as gloomy and diabolically melodic. Åhr's music generally drew on both Southern rap and the angsty introspection of the rock subgenre post-hardcore. He said that he wanted to become the "New Kurt Cobain".
Åhr’s music contains lyrical themes regarding topics such as depression, drug use, past relationships, and suicidal thoughts. He had been described as the future of emo by Steven J. Horowitz of online magazine Pitchfork.[25] Before the release of his first album, he mentioned Kurt Cobain, David Bowie, Frank Ocean and Riff Raff as inspirations, and wanted to be known as the "Kurt Cobain of Rap". His other musical influences include Gucci Mane, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Crystal Castles, Seshollowaterboyz, Rozz Dyliams, My Chemical Romance and Panic! at the Disco.His songs have sampled such artists as Brand New, Radiohead, Underoath, Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, The Postal Service, Oasis and The Microphones.
