Couple in California are caught using drones to deliver drugs.
Since drones have came out many people speculated that they would cause trouble. Drones have been used to fly drugs across the us borders but now a couple in California we're charged for distribution of drugs after they we're caught flying them to their buyers. Felony charges were filed Tuesday, Dec. 26, against a probationer and his girlfriend who are accused of dealing drugs out of a Riverside home and using a drone to deliver the contraband.Along with three counts of possession of controlled substances for sale, the couple is charged with child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police started their investigation months before after they were alerted by neighbors of suspicious traffic coming from the house. Upon investigation police started to see a drone fly from the yard. They followed the drone and watched it drop off a package a few blocks away. Police noticed seven people who were waiting for their package delivery.The activity prompted investigators to obtain a search warrant where they found numerous types of drugs. The couple were arrested and have over a $100,000 bail and are awaiting trial.
