A long-lost music video for Eazy-E’s classic track “Any Last Werdz” has suddenly resurfaced online, sparking major excitement among fans. The song comes from his 1993 EP It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa—Eazy-E’s biggest release, certified 2× Multi-Platinum and home to his iconic Dr. Dre diss “Real Muthaphuckkin G’s.” The EP peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts, selling over 110,000 copies its first week. As the last full project Eazy completed before his 1995 passing, this newly re-emerged “Any Last Werdz” video is a rare and historic piece of Eazy-E legacy.

Eazy-E had originally planned to follow Eazy-Duz-It with a massive double album titled Temporary Insanity, but after Dr. Dre’s shots on The Chronic, he pivoted and dropped the now-iconic EP instead. Dre is mentioned across nearly every track, except for fan favorites like “Gimmie That Nutt,” “Boyz-N-The-Hood (G-Mix),” and “Any Last Werdz.” This release also marked the start of Ruthless Records’ new distribution deal with Relativity and Epic, securing ownership of its masters. Lil Eazy-E later revealed that his father was worth an estimated $50 million at the time of his death—though the status of the estate today is unclear. He continues to honor Eazy-E’s legacy through touring and staying connected with former N.W.A members. Watch Eazy E’s lost music video ‘Any Last Werdz above.

On February 24, 1995, Eazy-E (Eric Wright) was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after months of a severe cough he believed was asthma—symptoms he’d been dealing with since mid-1994. Instead, doctors delivered a shocking diagnosis: AIDS. Eazy-E publicly announced his condition on March 16, 1995, revealing he likely contracted the illness from a sexual partner. In the days that followed, Eazy-E made peace with former N.W.A members Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg, and prepared a final message for his fans. Tragically, on March 26, 1995—just one month after his diagnosis—Eazy-E died from complications of AIDS. Although many reports listed him as 31, he was actually 30 due to an earlier alteration of his birth year. He was laid to rest on April 7, 1995, at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
