Rob Larkin & The Wayward Ones are the definition of Classical Rock!

Rob Larkin is a schooled and road-seasoned guitarist, award-winning songwriter, singer and collaborator. The lead singer and guitarist for the Portland-based band The Wayward Ones, Rob regularly tours the United States as a solo artist as well as with the band. As a session guitarist, he has worked with greats such as Brian MacLeod (Sheryl Crow) and Rami Jaffee (The Wallflowers, Foo Fighters), and is known for using his soulful songwriting sensitivity to tastefully add the guitar parts that suit the song. Rob's songs are currently in solid rotation on more than 100 radio stations across the United States, and licensed by television networks including Discovery Channel, NASCAR, Productions, Bunim-Murray Productions, VH1, MTV, and Oxygen.

Following his success as lead guitarist and vocalist for east coast and west coast-based bands, Rob Larkin recruited some of the best musicians in LA to help record his highly acclaimed album, Dogwood Roots. The result is a rich musical stew, with ingredients from righteous organ to down-home harmonica, and everything in between. As a testament to its timelessness, the title track "Dogwood" won the Americana category of the 2011 Show Me the Music Songwriting contest. Due to the album's success, Spectra Music Group signed the band and released Dogwood Roots worldwide in December 2013. Look for much more to come, with Rob Larkin and The Wayward Ones' upcoming album Lights Are Burning."...successfully walks the line between old and new with plenty of soul to spare. The result is a rich, well-worn sound with some teeth to it." Hayley Thomas, Paso Robles Press "...a refreshing blast with excellent music and a nice line of storytelling."
