Rapper XxxTentaction pronounced dead after being shot multiple times.

Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, also know as XxxTentaction was pronounced dead by Broward Sheriff department June 18,2018 after being shot multiple times in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The 20 year-old rapper was leaving a motorcycle shop in when he was shot at. Many fans and friends have already taken to social media to express their sadness, Xxxtentacion was 20 years old and was at the peak of his career before it sadly ended. He was a popular figure in SoundCloud rap, a trapscene that takes elements of lo-fi music and harsh 808s.Born and raised in Plantation, Florida, Onfroy spent most of his childhood in Lauderhill, Florida. He began writing music after being released from a youth correction center and eventually released his first song on the audio distribution platform SoundCloud in June 2013, titled "News/Flock".

Onfroy lived in Florida most his life where he at one time lived with rapper Denzel Curry. In February 2018, Onfroy posted on social media that he was preparing to head back into educationand went onto announce in March 2018 that he was going to a community college to get his GED. Xxxtentacion has been very public about his battles and struggles with depression as well as his feuds with other rappers on social media and confrontations at his concerts with fans.. Xxxtentacion leaves behind his older sister named Arianna Drew Onfroy and a younger brother named Aiden Onfroy as well as other family members.
